Connie has been successfully teaching full-time for over twenty years.
After studying with Arthur Reginald, a Juilliard graduate and professor
at Akron U in her youth, Connie received a full music scholarship
to Ohio State University. There she studied piano with concert artist
Richard Tetley-Kardos, pipe organ with Dr. Wilbur Held, and violin
with Dr. Thomas Moore for five years. She also participated in the
Wooster Symphony Orchestra, Ohio State Symphony Orchestra, and Ohio
State University Chorus. After receiving a B.S. in Education and a
B.A. in Music, she began her teaching career at Daarud’s Piano
Studio in Columbus, OH and held various church positions as music
director/organist.
In recent years Connie has been professionally accompanying for
the College of Wooster and doing post graduate piano study with Dr.
Brian Dykstra, director of Music, as well as teaching private lessons.
She has dedicated her life to sharing her gift of music with students
of all ages.
